YOAJUNG 요아정

Following the recent opening of Yo-chi, a new contender enters the race. Yoajung, a South Korean chain is set to launch its first outlet at SCAPE Orchard Link on September 5, 2025.

The brand's name (거트 이스크림의 석), which translates to "the standard of yogurt ice cream", reflects its focus on high-quality frozen yogurt.

Yoajung boasts a variety of serving forms, including acai bowls, yogurt bowls, and fruit cups. The brand also offers a selection of beverages, mainly coffee, tea, and chocolate drinks, along with baked goods.

Customers can customize their bowl or cup with different types of frozen desserts (ice cream or Greek yogurt), shells, and toppings. A wide variety of toppings are featured, everything from fresh fruits to honeycomb and chocolate chips.

Founded in 2020, Yoajung initially focused on online delivery and smaller outlets. As time progressed, the brand shifted its business model to a cafe-style experience.

Its popularity soared even higher after K-pop star Sungchan (Riize) recommended his favorite mix on social media. Sungchan's recommendations created a buzz among his fanbase, many of whom are now eager to try their idol's favorite dessert.

As of July 2025, the brand has expanded its footprint with more than 650 stores worldwide. Some of them are located in Hong Kong, United States (Hawaii), China, Japan, and Australia.[1]

YO-CHI

After its success in the homeland, Yo-Chi opened its first overseas outlet at Orchard Central. Opened in August 2025, Yo-chi's first outlet was met with massive enthusiasm.

The Australian chain brings self-serve and pay per weight concept, allowing customers to personalize and decorate their own frozen yogurt toppings and flavors, similar to a buffet. A single bowl is priced at 3.50 SGD per 100 grams.

Yo-chi outlets are designed with warm lightings and wood ornaments, creating a welcoming ambience from outside.

There are several frozen yogurt flavors that can be choose: acai, chocolate, salted butterscotch, cookies & cream, mango, signature tart, chocolate, matcha, strawberry, and classic vanilla.

A wide array of toppings are also available, including brownies, passion fruit, nata de coco, chocochips, M&M, and dragon fruits.

After choosing toppings, customers can finish it with cracker, biscoff sauce, or even chocolate sauce.
