Chagee WOLO Bukit Bintang Malaysia to Open as Flagship Outlet | ENGLISH
Three years after establishing its first Malaysian flagship outlet at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Chagee opened another global flagship outlet at WOLO Hotel Bukit Bintang. Officially opened on 17 October 2025, this location is part of Chagee's 200th store celebrations in Malaysia.
Chagee WOLO KL sits right beside Damascus Restaurant and faces the iconic Bukit Bintang crossings. Can you guess what brand it replaced...? Yes, it replaced Starbucks, which closed in May 2025. This move is interesting considering Chagee's ambition to become the "tea version of Starbucks."

In that sense, this outlet is no different. The 2-story outlet will present an industrial theme with its signature gold accents, creating a warm and bright experience. The interior features customized decorations with Chagee logo and Malaysia cityscape. perfect for social media and photography enthusiasts.
Similar to Starbucks' layout, it boasts a high ceiling-to-floor design, with the first floor serving as the main level where customers can order and collect their orders. Meanwhile, the second floor is mainly used for seating. If I saw it correctly, there is a seating area facing Bukit Bintang crossing.
Going up to the second floor, customers are greeted with rattan chandelier. Furthermore, there are several art and unique merchandise display (teapot) on every corner of this floor.
Other than design, Chagee at WOLO Hotel Bukit Bintang also offers some special menu, including desserts (cake), teaspresso (frappe and latte), and iced oriental tea.
As one of Chagee's first overseas markets, Malaysia is considered a successful venture with 176 outlets in Q2 2025.[1] The country was also the first in the world to have a Chagee drive-thru in Seremban 2 City Park.
To distinguish itself from competitors, Chagee emphasizes its marketing as genuine milk tea flavor with unique IP collaborations.
On the other hand, Chagee also offers sweet beverages, including snowy cap tea, and tea frappe for casual drinkers.
