KKV Expands to Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines | ENGLISH
KKV, a variety store chain from China, is accelerating its expansion across Southeast Asia. The company plans to increase its presence with more outlets in Malaysia and expand into new markets, including Vietnam, the Philippines, and Thailand.
Launched in 2019, KKV is a subsidiary of KK Group, which also owns X11 (toys and collectible store chain) and The Colorist (beauty store chain). As of October 2023, KKV already opened 421 stores.
KKV began its overseas expansion in 2020 at Central Park Mall, Indonesia. In just 4 years, the number of stores reached 60. Due to some circumstances, KKV sold its stake in PT KKV International Indonesia, resulting in the rebranding of all its stores to OH!SOME. Currently, OH!SOME Indonesia is managed by Blue Origin.
After closing its chapter in Indonesia, KKV started its journey in Malaysia with first outlet in Bukit Bintang Street, Kuala Lumpur.

KKV stores usually feature a bright, playful atmosphere, incorporating colorful and dynamic elements to make it stand out. Certain sections are also designed as photo spots, creating an experience that can be shared through social media.
While yellow is the main color palette for KKV stores, some locations, especially flagship stores (usually) features unique designs. This approach aims to give each store its own character, ensuring customers enjoy a fresh experience.
Inside KKV, customers can browse through different assortment of products, including snacks, cosmetics, accessories, toys, collectibles, indoor decorations, beverages, household items, and electronic products (earphones and power banks).
One of its main feature is noodle wall section. Here, customers can find instant noodles from around the world or simply take a photo for social media.
