MUJI Malaysia Opened 22nd Outlet at Setia City Mall | ENGLISH

Not long after opening its Sunway Velocity Mall outlet, MUJI ramped up its expansion with another outlet located on the UG floor of Setia City Mall. The store is located near Chateraise, Go Noodle House, and North 1 entrance. FYI, the brand replaces Uniqlo (which moved to an area close to Parkson).

As mentioned in the title, MUJI Setia City Mall is the brand's 22nd outlet in Malaysia. It is also the sixth branch in Selangor. Based on my estimation, the store size is probably around 800-1200 sqm.

MUJI Setia City Mall offers a wide array of product categories, including: Interior furniture & decorations, kitchen utensils, fashion, bags & travel needs, bath & laundry products, stationery, skincare, and snacks.

The store maintains MUJI's signature interior style, featuring red accents, wooden flooring, and wooden furnitures to create a homey and warm experience. Stepping inside the store, customers will be greeted by home appliance and apparel sections.

Similar to other regular stores, MUJI Setia City Mall's main product categories are home furnishings and housewares. There are several notable products to find in this section, including storage box, food container, textile bags, and skincare (body lotion, moisturizer, face soap).

Snack and packaged food selections here are quite limited, but okay enough. The food items range from MUJI Salted Egg Salmon Fish, MUJI Crispy Shrimp Cheek, cookies, instant chocolate and tea powder, and chocolate bites with several flavors.

The apparel section features basic clothing with simple patterns and less graphic design. The collection here includes children and baby clothing, homewear, and outdoor wear. In this area, you can find cotton vests, trousers, t-shirts, denim shirts, sweatshirts, skirts,blouses, and even pajamas.

To promote sustainability, several products are offered in pouch form, allowing customers to refill existing containers instead of discarding them.
